What this covers
This policy explains what NightShift AI collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers meetnightshift.com, operated by TBD (“we”, “us”).
What we collect
We collect the minimum we need to run the service:
- You give us: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and trade when you message us, request a callback, or book an audit. If you complete our client intake, you also give us your answers about how your business runs: crew size, job software, how phones get answered, lead sources, response times, proposals, subcontractors, invoicing, reviews, and what a big win looks like for you.
- Payments: when you book an audit, our payment processor Stripe authorizes a $247.50 hold on your card. Your full card number goes straight to Stripe. It never touches our servers.
- Automatic: if we enable analytics, it will be a privacy-friendly provider with no advertising trackers. Basic technical data such as device type, browser type, and pages visited may be collected in aggregate.
How we use it
- To reply to your messages and inquiries.
- To book, deliver, and support the operations audit you asked for.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To understand aggregate usage so we can improve the site.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers we need to run the business:
- Stripe: payments, card holds and charges.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and security. Form submissions are stored in Cloudflare’s systems.
Each processes data only on our instructions. We disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
We use no cookies of our own. Our payment provider sets cookies needed for fraud prevention during checkout. We run no advertising trackers.
Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above: contact inquiries for 24 months, customer records for 7 years for tax purposes. You may ask us to delete your data sooner (see “Your rights”).
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you promptly if we discover a breach affecting your data.
Children
NightShift AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will post the new version at meetnightshift.com/privacy.html and update the effective date above.
